Zaira (1952)

Against pride, prejudice, and, first and foremost, social status, the beautiful, statuesque, and affluent islander, Zaira, lets herself get carried away, and falls head-over-heels in love with a handsome but hopelessly poor young man. Of course, their scandalous relationship doesn't sit well with Zaira's haughty parents, who are willing to try every trick in the book to separate them. Will they manage to destroy a pure, youthful love?
