A Brief Intermission (1966)

Entranced by renowned theatre sensation Emma Karalis, aspiring playwright Yannis Papadopoulos is determined to meet her. After finally catching her attention, his honesty captivates her. As a result, she persuades him to produce one of his unpublished plays. However, the stage director only agrees if the play undergoes commercial alterations. As the weight of compromise strains their relationship, tough choices cast a heavy shadow over Yannis' initial enthusiasm. Now, all that's left is a haunting question: Is success selfless or selfish?
