The Seventh Sheriff (1923)

The town of Seely Flats has the reputation of permitting its sheriff to live about a month; the bad men of the town at the expiration of that period removing him by one means or another. Nobody will accept the job until Jack Rockwell, an adventurer seeking excitement, volunteers. The gang sets out after him and the adventurer gets all the excitement he wants. He triumphs, however, is hailed as a hero, and gets the girl.
