Miente y serás feliz (1940)

An Spanish, Juan,is obsessed with telling the truth always. As a result he is consistently in the middle of troubles. His daughter Pilar( a widow too) promised her late husband she never married again. But she is in love with Luis. When they are about to marry, Juan interferes and the wedding is canceled. The woman tries to commit suicide and his father receives a hard lesson in life. Finally, Pilar recovers and marries Luis and Luis' mother and Juan get married too.
