In a wild area of South America, a group of guerrillas vainly attempt to rouse the peasants who are overwhelmed by misery and fear. A young Frenchman nicknamed El Chute has joined them and shares their hunted lives. One day, he and a few of his companions fall into a trap set by the counter-revolutionaries.
