I ekdikisis tou kavallari (1962)

Against the backdrop of a scorching June and a bitter ten-year-old feud, the young rider, Thanassis, returns to the ancestral estate somewhere in rural Greece, for his brother Konstadis' engagement to his humble wife-to-be, Maria. However, an unforeseeable deep affection between Thanassis and Maria will further complicate matters, while in the meantime, the killer's son thirsts for retribution. Now, Konstadis feels the heavy burden of a pressing dilemma, knowing that both his honour and his future with Maria depends on whether he chooses to stain his hands with blood or not. Will he take his revenge?
