The Constant Gardener (2005)

Justin Quayle, a british diplomat, finds himself in Kenya when his wife Tessa is murdered. Alongside her, a man is found dead, a human rights activist with whom it is not known if she had any links. Justin investigates what lies behind these crimes and uncovers a disturbing plot of power between different actors of public relevance. A powerful film told in a gripping way, with great performances by Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz, who won the Oscar for best supporting actress.
