Raat Ke Rahi (1959)

After the passing of her ailing mother, Reeta re-locates to live with her sister, Mary, and brother-in-law, James. Upon arrival, she is assisted by a talkative ruffian, Bobby, who she instantly dislikes. She then observes Mary being abused by her alcoholic husband, as well as finds out that Bobby is actually James' brother, and both eventually fall in love. Unable to watch Mary getting abused, she decides to elope with Bobby, while the police search James' residence. Before the duo could elope, she will be told that Bobby has not only been arrested but has also managed to escape from custody.
