Underground Passage (1983)

Faced with insurmountable problems, Kostas Kavadias, a young minister of industrial development, finds himself between the hammer and the anvil. On the one hand, his troubled, suicidal wife Irini is bent on putting an end to her miserable existence, while on the other hand, a large-scale environmental disaster threatens Kostas' otherwise brilliant career. As the Prime Minister decides to tackle the volatile situation, people start dying, and a coup is at hand. Does Kostas have what it takes to deal with the enemies of the state?
