Let There Be Light (1996)

Tim works in a laboratory where an accident during his experiments leaves him with a severe eye injury. Desperate for help, he turns to his friend Jack, who claims to know a notorious doctor named Dr. Cool, infamous for performing illegal surgeries. When Jack refuses to assist, Tim sets off on his own. After a night spent drowning his sorrows in a bar, he drunkenly stumbles home, only to be violently attacked by a hooded figure. The next morning, he awakens in the woods with one eye bandaged. As he makes his way home, he discovers that during the night, he underwent the desired eye transplant. The new eye works perfectly, prompting Tim to start a journal chronicling his newfound experiences. However, things take a dark turn as Tim begins to experience terrifying hallucinations and unsettling nightmares, coupled with strange physical changes. Determined to find the mysterious Dr. Cool, he sets out again, only to be captured by shadowy figures in the forest. Jack rushes to the scene in a bid to rescue his friend, but he arrives just in time to witness a horrific climax that will forever change their lives.
