Blaise is an uncomplicated farmer who lives happily with his wife and two children. One day he wins the lottery but he decides to go on living as before. Nothing changes until the appearance of Jean, a former army buddy, who has heard of Blaise's new-found riches. Jean persuades Blaise that life is too short to spoil it and the serious farmer starts painting the town red with his evil genius friend spending money unwisely.
