Documentary showing how people on the former district of "Rio das Mortes" (in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil), live nowadays. "Rio das Mortes" was situated in the region of gold extraction, and was colonized by Portuguese pioneers who went into expeditions called "bandeiras", and for that reason they became known as "bandeirantes".
