Social Democratic propaganda film. After the Social Democratic win in the election in 1929, the building work of a better Danish society began in earnest. A cheerful young man with faith in life, himself and the labor movement returns to the country, as legislation creates the opportunity to live out there, where he feels at home. The results from ten years of struggle for work and democracy are now experienced by living people. Prime minister Thorvald Stauning speaks before and after the film.
