El curandero del pueblo (1969)

A rural healer uses ancient methods and herbs as cures, obtaining the confidence of the community for many years. When the government establishes a health center in the town, the people don't want to go there, preferring the healer's methods. Only after an emergency, in which a child almost dies, is the healer persuaded to attend nursing school.
