Corinna Feldmann is a successful TV presenter: after the program she comes home waiting for her husband Siegfried: for her holiday she has planned a travel to Venice with Siegfried, but he needs to speak with her.He says her that their relationship is now empty and it would be better to separate.The imaginary grandmother tells Corinna that the man has a new and younger girlfriend.After that Siegfried leaves the house.Corinna receives a phone call from a colleague whose wife is quite ready to give birth and asks her to replace him.Her guest will be Peter Fehrtenbach, a trade union delegate.She feels well in the interview, flirting a little with Peter to make Siegfried jealous and Peter seems to her to be a very sensible man.Her gay friend Bebe recommends her to go to therapy.After some sessions Corinna is still thinking in Siefried (they have lived together for 10 years) and they agree a date in a restaurant.When Siefried proposes to come to the house with his new girlfriend, Corinna becomes angry and fires him.Arriving at home she receives a phone from Peter Fehrtenbach who now remembers the title of a book :"Why men doesn't know how to listen to and why women doesn't know how to park a car" and who would like to lend this book.
