There are times in life when nothing goes right. Take Vincent, for example. Not content with leaving him on the (spurious) pretext that he is impossible to live with, his wife even finds a way of cheating on him - With his own publisher. Just when he needs to concentrate on finishing this blasted biography of Catherine II of Russia. How ungrateful can you get. Who's going to cook his dinner, iron his clothes and make his bed now? Forced to move back in with Mom at age 40 - Can it get any worse? Oh well, you just have to make the best of it. There, at least, he'll get all the peace and quiet he needs to focus on his work.
