The Baader Meinhof Complex (2008)

Set against the turmoil of 1970s Germany, it follows a group of radicalized young militants as they wage a brutal campaign against what they view as a new fascist order rooted in American imperialism and Germany’s Nazi past. Bombings, assassinations, and kidnappings tear at the heart of Germany’s fragile democracy, while federal police chief Horst Herold relentlessly pursues the elusive group, understanding their motives even as he works to bring them down.
