In a small faraway town lies a murky inn with bats in the basement and fungus in the foundation wall. This is where the murderous innkeeper, Abraham, lives. Together with his hired hand Mopsus, they supplement the income by murdering unsuspecting guests. But one night the witch Amiane casts a curse on them: everything that is said by lies this evening will become truth. TV adaptation of Blixen's 1926 comedy.
