L'or des anges (1998)

This film traces the history of he most celebrated choirs of the Western tradition along with the personal development of the singers' individual careers. Two distinct stories are this intimately entwined. The private one starts with the admission in a choir to the physical and psychological uneasiness that puts an abrupt end to the singers' careers. A didactic approach is then added to his private story that reviews the various institutions, sometimes considered in their national paradigm, where national variety is stressed in terms of education, vocal techniques and repertoires
