Vishnevii sad (1976)

Mme Ranevskaya, her daughter Anya, and their servants return to their ancestral home in Russia from a sojourn in Paris. Their estate contains a beautiful and famous cherry orchard, which the family is pressured, by debt, to sell and parcel out for "development."
