Pretty Woman from Aigio (1968)

Dejected, young and fresh Krinio is shocked to discover that her old-fashioned father, and her cruel older brother, Dimitris, have already arranged to marry her off to Nikolas Lambrinos, a slimy opportunist who poses as a righteous man. Shortly after Krinio's return from Larissa, the rumours about her clandestine affair with Vasilis start to spread like wildfire, and things take a dangerous turn when her beau arrives in the small community looking for a job. Now, Dimitris is hell-bent on thwarting the plans of the young couple, unbeknownst to him that Vasilis is harbouring a shocking secret; one that will turn their world upside down.
