Parental Farm (2004)

When Mamhoud is invited to a conference to speak about his new war novel, 'Parental farm,' his aim to discuss war literature in general turns into a much more personal journey. Having lost his family to war, Mamhoud refuses to accept the reality, and begins to believe his wife and children are still alive. While the film unfolds this complex emotional journey in the present, flashbacks tell the story of Mamhoud's war experience, and reveal the heart-breaking mystery of how his family was lost.
