Spur des Feuers (2008)

From April to October 1933 Nazi book burnings took place in more than 70 German cities, to which works by Jewish authors including Marx, Freud, Kerr, Tucholsky, Heinrich Mann, Remarque fell victim. The film shows historical footage from those nights, recapitulates the events and reviews outlaw authors and their work.
