Encounters (2009)

Every year for the past 14 years Professor Sanders has been exposing students and non-students to the 'Trail of Sorrows' also known as the Slave Trail, that took place in Ghana, West Africa and stretches over 269.15 miles. The three-week trip is designed to humble all participants and give them a glimpse of what it must have been like for our enslaved ancestors during the holocaust. It is not a vacation.
