Set against the backdrop of a rising cult, "the liners", who revel in public suicide, the picture follows the intertwined emotional paths of childhood friends Ridgley Smith (Kurt Finney), Paige Madison (Vanessa Ray), and Lincoln Colby (Mike Knab) as they grasp to find meaning and salvation in a world gone insane.
