Coup de Cinema (2011)

In a film clip within the movie, an explosion blows a woman's jacket off, revealing a somewhat skimpy outfit beneath. The camera lingers on her for a few seconds while the wind keeps roaring.

Some mild violence is depicted in a montage of bad movies being watched within the film, including cheesy blood sprays from bullet wounds. A man is hit by a train in one film in a comically unconvincing effect. Another clips depicts the protagonists of a stoner comedy being abruptly murdered by crazed hillbilly highwaymen from their own point-of-view (nothing gory). All of the clips are played for comic effect.

In a dream sequence, Miles imagines himself bludgeoning Adrian with a single strike from an award trophy (shown in silhouette). The scene is silly but initially confusing, and might seem like it's actually happening to the viewers.

A man threatens another with a gun, which is fired into the wall.

Fairly mild and infrequent, but might offend some sensitive viewers. "Shit" is said a couple times (one instance is barely noticeable), "bastard" twice, "bitch" once (though not directed at a character) and one character acknowledges himself as having been an "asshole." Adrian complains after watching his editor's work that he feels like his "eyes have just been raped." A character says "Holy fu-" and is interrupted before finishing the word.

Characters hold wine glasses in a dream sequence. One movie-within-the-movie feels like a stoner comedy, and while drug use isn't shown, one character asks another if he wants to get high, followed by a quick cut to a later scene of everyone laughing hysterically.

There's a sudden but comedic moment when a masked man appears to corner one of the villains in an alley.

Some of the video editing that Ren Fields does is bizarre and disturbing, inserting random shots of surreal imagery into his films that serve no purpose but to make Adrian uncomfortable. This is played comedically.
