While traveling on vacation in the Mexican jungle, three young friends, Roman, Patricia and Lorena, witness the murder of a group of indigenous peasants. Virtually by accident, Roman videotapes the massacre. The leader of the killers, El Suavecito, spots them and immediately kills Roman and Patricia. In the confusion of the shooting, Lorena manages to escape with the video. While fleeing, she meets a group of bullfighting midgets, who take her to Mexico City, home of Roman's brother Eduardo. Eduardo is an unsuccessful alternative artist who looks after his little niece Vero, Roman's daughter, and ends up being affected by the events of the story. El Suavecito, however, knows that he must not leave any witnesses or testimony. In his zealous persecution of Lorena, he leaves behind a wake of deaths, until his nose leads him to an enormous, desolate bullfighting arena. Here, once again, the battle between good and evil is staged in a dance of death... with an unexpected ending.
