The Way Way Back (2013)

Duncan, a 14-year-old teenager, goes on vacation with his mother Pam, stepfather Trent and his daughter, Steph. However, the experience is far from pleasant as he must deal with his stepfather's alcohol and drug use. Even so, he strikes up an unexpected friendship with Owen, a colleague at a place where Duncan starts working for the summer. A family melodrama that far from being conventional is quite funny, tender, full of wit and with a touching story to discover.
