Labor Day (2013)

Set in 1987, the story follows Adele, a divorced woman who is sad after being abandoned by her husband. Her son Henry, a 13-year-old teenager, tries to assume an adult role and take care of his mother. One day, they both meet a man who asks them for shelter, but he turns out to be a fugitive from the law. Directed by Jason Reitman and starring Kate Winslet, this is a classic melodrama with unexpected twists and turns and a few surprises. If you like this genre, be sure to see it.
