Hypocrites (2012)

He is known by everybody but nobody really knows him. He finds himself in a wrong situation. His proclaimed devotees are too preoccupied with rules and bureaucracy -or simply with their jobs- to recognize him. This short film, directed by Alec Hahn, is inspired and narrated by the German poet and songwriter Goetz Widmann. It is based on the hypothetical idea of what would happen if Jesus Christ would seek asylum in a first world country. When one rigid belief confronts the other, one of them has to be ignored. The birth of hypocrisy!
