Memories of Iraq is a documentary about reservist soldier Stephen McCoy's experience of Operation TELIC (the British codename for the invasion of Iraq in 2003). Operation TELIC is one of the largest deployments of British Forces since the Second World War. This documentary covers McCoy's memories from the telephone call which lead to his mobilization, the invasion and his return. McCoy recollects a missile attack on the first day, crossing the border at night with the Royal Irish, as well as being with the FIRST troops deployed to Al Amarah and living in Saddam's Palace in Basra.
