Black Friday

The first day of xmas shopping is thanksgiving night. Black Friday begins at midnight, when the lines surrounding big box mega-stores push and shove their way in. Customers camp out for days, skipping the national holiday. The workers pull an 18 hour shift. 6PM on Thursday through noon on Friday. How do they make it? why are they there? How will the wider world do this year, given the difficult economy? How does the media get in on the story? How does social media and the internet change the game? Is commerce making the world more deranged? A comedy about people who are stuck, smart phones as weapons and an economy gone mad.
