The Intermission (2013)

On the eve of the closure of a cinema, an examination of what this means for film and for Japan as a whole from the point-of-view of the viewing public and the cast who staffed many of the films. Intermissions marks the return of actress Akiko Koyama to film following the death of her famed husband whom she had been looking after for years.
