"Zürich is Burning!" takes us directly into the riots of 1980, sparked in response to crackdowns on autonomous youth centers. The young protesters were especially critical of the city council's decision to invest 60 million in "bourgeois culture" while completely ignoring alternative culture and nonprofit performances.
