"The Liberation of James Joyce" is a dramedy that centers around David, a functional alcoholic, whose life is in pieces. While driving cross-country, David encounters a prostitute and a wayward teen, who will change his life. The film takes a look at a man, who has no interest in helping himself, but goes out of his way to help another.
