The Western media has speculated that these people are weak individuals; seduced by a novel culture, and brainwashed by false ideals. But is it really so simple? Through the lives of three people who have been in India for a while, 'Where the Darkness Has to Run' examines the secret motivations of people who leave their lives to embrace spirituality.
