The Red Turtle (2016)

A shipwrecked man finds himself on a deserted tropical island, surrounded by a serene paradise of sandy beaches, lush bamboo forests, and fresh water. Despite its beauty, he longs for freedom and repeatedly builds rafts to escape, but an unseen force thwarts his attempts. One day, he discovers the cause: a giant red turtle. In anger, he attacks the creature, but later regrets it. Mysteriously, the turtle transforms into a woman.
