Play with Me (2014)

'Play With Me' is a physiological thriller about Trevor, a Spanish violinist. Eva, his ex-lover, arranges an invitation for him to perform in London with an acclaimed orchestra to establish his reputation as a virtuoso soloist. Lola, his possessive girlfriend, accompanies him. They are excited and feel lucky to be guests in the home of Eva's friend Rosie (an artist), in a leafy North London suburb. Rosie is about to leave to exhibit her work in New York. Their planned short visit is extended when Trevor has an accident. Lola meets Rosie's live-in boyfriend Ricky, a DJ who she had met in Ibiza when working as a waitress in the same club. Trevor and Lola feel comfortable in the big house. Ricky's initial interest in the couple gives way to apprehension when he realizes he knows Lola from the past. The arrangements Eva had made to further Trevor's career are put on hold as he recovers from his accident. Trevor and Eva secretly rekindle their relationship. Unexpectedly Lola's mentally unstable mother Maxima arrives in London, a city familiar to her from her sleazy past. Lola seems to have an unhealthy interest in Ricky because of their dark history. It is at this point Maxima takes matters into her own hands.
