Irina, la mallette rouge (2014)

Bosnia, 1995. Violence among ethnic groups persists in the aftermath of a civil war. Chased by some militiamen, 9-year-old Irina and her father fled. Her father, hit by a sniper's shot, leaves Irina alone and left to fend for herself. She finds refuge in an isolated farm of a Bosnian family and befriends the young Malik, but prejudices and resentments will soon disrupt the life of this family without history and threaten the nascent friendship between the two children.
