Cecile (2018)

Maryanne wakes up to find Lucas destroying all the vegetables she had gotten for the upcoming fundraiser she has been anxious about. He has done it again. This time, even her best friend notices his odd behavior and his obsession with taking care of his sick sister, Cecile, but Maryanne doesn't want to talk about it. Until the day finally comes and not only did no one show up to her fundraiser, but her son becomes more irritable. As she washes the dishes, she asks herself: How did she come to this? How does she tell him that Cecile has passed away and that he needs to move on? Maybe, it starts with finally her accepting her grief, prompting her to walk into Cecile's room for the first time since her passing.
