In Rwanda, Dominika Kulczyk and Kulczyk Foundation support families with deaf and hearing-impaired children, and visit a special-needs school set up in 2013 by Louis Ngabonziza, a teacher with a mission. At Nyabihu Demonstration School for the Deaf, they not only learn the sign language and school knowledge, but they also acquire other skills that are needed in life like life skills and different ways of accessing information in daily life. They are given a chance to have a life that they dream about. But first of all, they are given a chance to have dreams at all. In this documentary, we learn the story of new pupils that attend the Nyabihu Demonstration School for the Deaf - Eric and Kevine. These two say goodbye to their parents and, for the first time, enter a boarding school. At first, they are confused, because they have never been in such a situation before and could not communicate with their peer deaf children at the school as they do not know sign language yet. They attend the sign language classes. At the same time, parents take part in similar classes, and they cannot believe that they will soon be able to communicate with their deaf child. At this school, Dominika Kulczyk witnesses touching scenes. Children, thanks to the hearing aids, hear so far unheard voices of their parents, and say the words "mom" and "dad" for the first time. The obstacle has been overcome, what used to be impossible is now becoming possible. Thanks to Kulczyk Foundation's support, hearing aids produced by Solar Ear will be provided to all the children of the Nyabihu Demonstration School for the Deaf who are in need of them. "Hear me!" appeared in a documentary series, the "Domino Effect".
