Rojo (2018)

In 1970s Argentina, Claudio, a successful lawyer, enjoys a prosperous life just before the arrival of the civil-military coup. But when a private detective investigates the disappearance of a stranger whom Claudio had publicly humiliated, an irreversible spiral of violence, death and secrets begins. Awarded at the San Sebastian Festival, with hypnotic cinematography, this film offers an allusive look at the darkest period of Argentine history founded by the absence of justice and law.
