Ananda loves Sushila but her father Mamasaheb wants her elder daughter Sujata to get married first and won permit their marriage until she finds a suitable groom.Sujata hates men an is against marriage.Anand'as takes help of his friend Sarjya and marries Sujata so he can get signal for his marriage Sujata finds that her husband whom she taught was illiterate is very much educated and strong bond develops between the two.Ananda poses as music teacher to Sushila in order to keep a watch on the whereabouts of her marriage.
