Shradha (1984)

Raghunath an atheist while his wife Nima is a firm believer of God he gets promoted as a cashier in his bank soon after birth of his son and considers it a luck.Few years later Raghunath's brother Adinath comes to his bank and borrows two thousand Rupees promising to return within few hours.Adinath is kidnapped by goons and lands in hospital and Raghunath gets fired from his job for committing fraud.Nima asks help from landlord Gopalrao who in turn makes things worst and also testifies against Raghunath when accused of pick pocketing and lands in jail.Raghunath while in jail writes to Nima to go to their village where she lives a life of hell because of Inamdar.Adinath now serves as Doctor in jail and tells Raghunath why he could not return that that day and waits for his return.While during the whole crisis Nima has trust in her worship that things will be back to normal.
