Stella's hardship journey to overcome her PTSD, has allowed her to fall in love with Dani, but the girl's relationship becomes yet another version of destruction. On her 18th birthday, Stella Michaels voluntarily checks herself into Bellevue Women's Psychiatric Ward. Stella has experienced more in her eighteen years than most have in a lifetime. Upon her arrival to the ward, Stella meets fellow patient, Dani Ellis. Both of them equally the same, yet equally different. The two form an undeniable bond. Having both suffered at the hands of others, they relate to each other on a level that no doctor or therapist ever could. Soon their world begins to unravel and the two are faced with the harsh realities of their situations and the demons of their past.
