Your Land My Land (2018)

Reina Rosenda, a 15 year old high school girl immigrates to the USA from Mexico with her single mother who is on a student visa. She starts her first day of school isolated in a new country without any knowledge of English. She meets Kyung-Hee, another 15 year old immigrant from Korea, who's family came for a better life. Dispite not being able to speak to each other verbally, they bond over their similarities through music, media, and keeping each other company in this new land.
