Ghosts, Goblins and Other Stories (1985)

A group of children living on a hillside in the outskirts of Lima, Peru, share their supernatural experiences while exploring the mountains that surround them. They tell stories about the black widow, the friendly ghosts and other strange happenings. Are they real or imagined? The film is based on interviews made with children of Flor de Amancaes, a neighborhood of newly arrived migrants making the transition to the big city. It features five children from the area playing themselves in a story that is part fiction and part documentary.
