Newcomers (2019)

It is more and more difficult for Jacques, doctor and mayor of Saint-Laurent, to protect his village from desertification. The day the unique class must close, his only and unlikely solution enforced by the prefecture is to host refugees and their children. The inhabitants are divided: some are enthusiastic, others are hostile to their mayor's guests. But living with Hassan, Yana or Nassim make them evolve progressively - Until Jacques discovers that a couple is not refugees but illegal immigrants.
