Vita (2019)

Constance gave up on love a long time ago but found it years later on a morning jog. His name is Chisolu and together they planned their future where they would fulfill all of their dreams. Salima, his sister believes that Constance is not the woman for him because the plan is to marry Fatmata, his girlfriend from back home. Chisolu refuses to go backward and keeps his eyes on Constance, however, the relationship becomes rocky as Constance is left out of important events that only Chisolu is invited to. Constance decides that she wants to surprise Chisolu and pays him a visit. As she drives up the street, she notices him on his front porch with Fatmata, laughing and cuddling. Unaware of what's taking place, she drives off, upset and summons for her girlfriends Rita and Lillian. Constance is deeply hurt by what she saw. She blames Salima for everything and breaks it off with Chisolu. Salima feels bad about the breakup and wants desperately for her brother to be happy no matter what the cost. She visits Constance and brings a peace offering. In the meantime, Chisolu must consult with his elders and they must decide the fate of his future. Will he be true to his culture or true to his love?
