Mehkar's well-known actor, Ravi Sharma, is playing a critical role in the film Glorious Dead, which is being made at the international level. Despite being an artist from a small city, Ravi Sharma has achieved this feat due to his hard work, zeal and passion for acting. Last year, Ravi Sharma had played an important character in a critically acclaimed Marathi movie, Palyadwasi which has received 34 international awards and 100 laurels. 'Tu fakt ho mhan' is his current Marathi film under production. 'Glorious Dead' is Sudip Ranjan Sarkar's upcoming Philosophical movie. This film is being produced in English, German and Hindi. While mainly being shot in France and India, notable artists from different countries like Albania, Russia, France, Germany and India have participated at various locations. In this movie, Ravi Sharma plays the key role of Kalki, one that brings change. It is a uniquely different character in itself. Talking about this movie, Ravi Sharma said that the film depicts woman power, this story is about women of different ethnicity and places who demonstrate their strength & power according to their circumstances. Explaining his role, Ravi said that it was shot in the backdrop of spiritual ghats of Benaras. This movie is about 1 hour 45 minutes, with release date yet to be finalized. Ravi further said that this complete film have been shooted on iphone , mostly in natural light. Film's premiere will take place in America, followed by a world wide screening. Ravi also stated, this film is written and directed by the famous writer-director from West Bengal, Dr. Sudeep Sarkar, while Nez Moving Pixel and Rita Zanwar are producing it. Dr. S.Sarkar is a master at story telling and amazing presentation of topics related to the entirety of human behavior, evolutionary aspects of cultural traditions across the social plathora.
